For building light inner walls, steel profiles are a good choice – they are easy to install, have a fixed length and are straight.
Steel profiles are made from 0.5-0.6-mm-thick zinc-coated sheet steel, produced in accordance with EN 14195:2015 and EN 13964:2014.
Usually, the height of a steel profile is the height of the wall minus 2 cm.
In a finished wall, the steel profiles always retain their dimensions and shape, so the wall will last the lifetime of the building. The material is resistant to moisture and fire.
The steel profiles are manufactured to the most common dimensions of plasterboards, thermal insulation and insulation materials. The round holes in the vertical profiles allow the installation of phone and electrical wiring and water pipes in the walls.
Plasterboard walls with a steel profile frame filled with insulation wool provide excellent sound insulation.
Plasterboard walls with a steel profile frame filled with insulation wool are thermally stable.
Steel profile products are allergen-free – they do not emit any substances harmful to health.
